What I Use to Organize Bullet Lesson Plans

Disc bound are the binders I use. I've been using them for years and I can't imagine ever using anything different. Even if I would need to use an electronic planner, I love using paper and pens, which my favorite are Pilot FriXion Clicker Retractable Erasable Gel Pens. Below are some reasons why I like the disc bound system.

Bullet Lesson PlanDisc Bound Notebook

  1. Low-profile compared to a 3-ring binder. I find 3-ring binders very bulky and clunky. I walk around the school with my lesson plan book and even trek it home. Disc bound is the perfect size.
  2. Easy to move pages around. It has a profile like a spiral notebook, but I can easily move pages around within the binder.
  3. Less than some of the popular options you find teachers gravitating toward lately. The punch is the most expensive item, yet it's only a one-time purchase and totally worth it!
  4. Use my favorite format and print on regular paper! I don't have to make my plans fit someone else's idea with certain size boxes. I can just use my favorite format...bullet lesson plans!

So now you know what I like to use to organize the pages of my lesson plan book. I'd love to know if you use something similar or decide to start using this system. Let me know and leave a comment below. Again, I think it's the best out there!
